Code of Conduct
Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment. At Bishop Speechly Vidyapeeth, we maintain high standards of conduct to ensure a safe, nurturing, and productive environment for all.
School Routine
- Students should report to classes by 9:05 A.M.
- Maintain silence when moving to assembly, classrooms, or labs.
- Movements between blocks must be orderly and in a single file.
- Regular and punctual attendance is mandatory.
- Students must get up and greet teachers or visitors entering the classroom.
Academics & Diary
- Bring the school diary daily for communication between parents and teachers.
- Textbooks and notebooks must be purchased from the school.
- All assignments must be submitted on time.
- Speak in English while within the school campus.
- Diary notes must be signed by parents regularly.
Campus Etiquette
We take pride in our school. Protecting our environment and respecting others is a core value.
- Do not deface walls, desks, or furniture.
- Keep classrooms clean; use waste baskets.
- Any damage to school property must be paid for.
- Report lost items to the office immediately.
- Unclaimed articles found must be handed over to the office.
- Do not cut in when others are talking.
- Never keep hands in pockets while speaking to elders.
- Be respectful to handicapped persons; never tease.
- Take pride in personal appearance and hygiene.
- Greet all staff, visitors, and fellow students.
Administrative Rules
- No meeting/fund collection without Principal's permission.
- Parents taking children during school hours must sign a permission slip.
- In case of illness, report to the class teacher immediately.
- Staff may confiscate inappropriate literature.
Serious Breaches
Irregular attendance, habitual negligence, disobedience, or malpractice may incur punishment, including suspension or dismissal. Disrespect to staff is treated seriously.
Strictly Prohibited
Gadgets
Mobile phones are strictly prohibited on the school campus.
Food Items
Chewing gum, sip-ups, and drinks other than water are banned.
Valuables
Do not bring cash or valuables. The school is not responsible for losses.
Relationships
Permissiveness in boy-girl relationships or unhealthy trends not congenial to the academic atmosphere will lead to immediate withdrawal.
